I, Mr. Quinton Douglas Crawford am a 2024 candidate for the School Board "Area #2 Trustee Member" for the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District. Over the past 20 years, I have served as an educator in varied capacities. Full-time as a private school teacher, as a Substitute Teacher at one time or another in every school in this district over the years, became a published author, and entrepreneur, and taught overseas in Ghana and China.

I began K-3rd grades in Torrejon AFB (Spain) and Royal Oaks Elem. in the U.K. for grades 1-3.

As a former student of Travis Unified School District during 4th grade (Scandia Elementary) and 5th grade (Center Elementary); The Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District for (6th gr.- Anna Kyle,7th/8th -Sullivan Middle 9-12th Fairfield High); Solano Community College for 3 Associate degrees,, Chapman University for my B.A. degree, and now in an online Masters of Education program. As an added plus I have been trained on Emotional Intelligence and Primary Research Methodology. I want to help groom an education system that encourages intellectual growth and critical thinking. For not only our nation but our world's future, I believe our children should learn how to think independently with wisdom, not just what to think.

Public education must remain free from non-relevant agendas of all types including religious and anti-California virtues. These agendas can undermine national pride, childhood innocence, and parental rights. My role as a Trustee is to be focused on the well being of our students and staff. Students are younger developing humans and should not be treated as small androids or calculators. As a candidate, I am focused on guiding our district towards these values or whatever our district decides is the better collective objective. We must protect our children’s educational environment from negative social for all of the community of FSUSD bias and discriminatory hidden agenda against democracy.I will also bring the skills and wisdom I have learned from my years with the Solano College ASSC, Northern Solano Democratic Club and the Sierra Club Solano Group.

My experiences span well over twenty years in educational service/ leadership, and inclusion within the Sierra Club. I’ve worked for both large and small organizations, both foreign and domestic; becoming a published author owning http://Oneglobalbook.com , including currently running my businesses. This experience equips me with skills essential for leadership on the school board. My role will facilitate open communication channels between the superintendent, our school administrations, teachers, the rest of the school board, and the community.

Focusing on student wellness is also a priority. I am dedicated to advocating for programs that foster more than just academic achievement. These programs will support the overall well-being of our students. This includes providing mental health resources, seeking support for field trips for our students, and offering an extended range of extracurricular activities.

My campaign is not driven by a political agenda, but I welcome all support to help good things happen. It is rooted in my growth and experience as a professional working in the interests of the area youth development, and as a researching author to be constantly thinking of the future welfare of this world's children, especially those in our district I deeply care about for there health, safety, and life productivity.
